North Down Community Network

WELCOME TO THE NORTH DOWN COMMUNITY NETWORK – working continues in lockdown

North Down Community Network is a charity (NIC102333) based in Bangor in 1999.  Even in the midst of the emerging developments with COVID-19, North Down Community Network (NDCN) continues supporting community and voluntary sector groups across Bangor and beyond, working along with volunteers and staff members on all issues including; community development, building social capital, lobbying, practice and policies, good governance and best practice sharing.  In addition, NDCN support and serve individuals by providing a week long programme of health and wellbeing activities from the NDCN Community Hub on Main Street Bangor.  As the lockdown guidelines have been evolving we are pleased to be able to re-establish a significant amount of our activities on an outdoor basis and at a social distance.  Sessions such as creative writing, hub choir, chi me, ‘speakeasy’ and the walking group are now running each week with smaller numbers and a booking process in place.  To book in or to contact us for more information please call: 02891 461386.
