It’s been a long Winter and the Spring has finally sprung! It’s time to get out of hibernation and back into the swing of things. Volunteering with NOW Group is the perfect way to do this. It’s a great way to meet new people, encounter new experiences and develop new skills. Social enterprise NOW Group has a number of different volunteering opportunities available for older or retired people. Why not get in touch and let us match your interests to volunteering positions currently available?

There are many opportunities for personal growth and experience while volunteering with NOW Group, a social enterprise supporting people with learning difficulties and autism into jobs with a future. We work right across Belfast, Antrim, Newtownabbey and North Down offering services covering employment and training support, a Family Service (Belfast only), and Transition from school to work.

NOW Group also has two social enterprises: Loaf Catering and Cafes and Gauge NI. (Loaf comprises of an outside catering business and two cafes – Loaf Café and Bakery on Grosvenor Road and The Bobbin at Belfast City Hall. Gauge NI helps organisations demonstrate their social impact by measuring the outcomes of their work.)

Volunteering opportunities are available in many different roles and positions right throughout the organisation:

 Kidnap Wednesday Social Forum Volunteer

Transition II Social Forum Volunteer

Training Mentor

Catering Mentor

Employment Mentor
