Help shape local rural development
Rural dwellers across Ards and North Down are invited to attend a public engagement event to give their opinion on the type of grants that should be offered by Ards and North Down Rural Partnership in order to maximise benefits to the local rural area. The grants will be delivered as part of the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, of which Ards and North Down has been allocated £3.85 million by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. The main themes being considered for the 2014-2020 strategy are Rural Business Investment, Village Renewal, Rural Basic Services and Rural Broadband.
We would welcome your thoughts on where funding should be focused under a new Rural Development Programme in Ards and North Down. Ards and North Down Rural Partnership is hosting a series of public engagement events which will take place on;
